Types of Ganpati Aarti
The
festival of Ganesh Chaturti is the celebration of the birth of Ganpati or Lord
Ganesha. This festival is very popular all around the world even though it is
primarily a Hindu festival. The other name for this festival is Vinayak
Chaturthi. Here Vinayak means the remover of all obstacles, as in, Lord
Ganesha. In the festival, a ganpati murti is
worshipped and celebrated over ten days. Ganesha is known as the deity of
wisdom and fortune along with power, wealth and prosperity. Devotees use
different kinds of aarti and songs of devotion to worship Lord Ganesha and look
for his blessing in all the fields mentioned afore. The 10 day puja include bringing an idol home,
worshipping and celebration him for 10 days and then finally submerging the
idol in a big body of water.

a day, once in morning followed by once in evening in all the 10 days the

The idol is also adorned with the warmth of multiple diyas around him
and is served modak or laddoo, which is the absolute favorite of Lord Ganpati.
