Raksha Bandhan, as the name suggests, is a festival to solidify the bond shared between brothers and sisters by tying a thread called Rakhi around the hands of brothers by their sisters. From that day onwards, the Yamuna, the second largest tributary of Ganga, started flowing eternally.
